Not to Worry...

I'm not so much sad... just a bit. A wee bit happy, too.

Just wanting to share these.. share... something.

A Universal Word

Love is
a meteor
moving fast
through the void until
it finds
the proper atmosphere
which will fuel it's conflagratory phase
that will consume it before
it reaches solid ground
leaving behind a trail
of microscopic matter
that makes up the universe

I lie on sheets
As white as snow
And just as cold

The moonlight bleeds
Down, in, and shows
No hand to hold

Thus in between
The heart and soul
A shadow grows...

Slainte, folks!

Sir, your words are absolutely beautiful.

Two truly wonderful poems, indeed

I, my friend, liked the second one best.

Beautiful, and poignant, Sir...old hurt, perhaps, but well written enough to carry the cold and lonliness forward with them...

And I hate that you (or anyone, really) ever had to feel that way, life lessons be damned.

Shade and Sweetwater,

Lady Felinae,

Thank you...
The second one ... much more pain. It was from a time in my life when the future was.. in the future., was not any time soon going to be a chance of having a hand...

Ohana, my friend...

Lady K...

thank you.
the hurt is not nice for anyone. necessary to make us see the beauty all the more poignantly when offered, though.

Aw Sir Cyg , you sure did bring it with these two poems

The hot science of love
Blazing, burning, smoldering

And the ache of loneliness
Carlin was right..sometimes the wolves are silent and the moon howls...

Fookin' awesome stuff
Keep bringing it

Peace - Rene
