Me S-10 Takes Me On 'er Final Beer Run...
Then made her way into some great hands-- two mannered youngsters from the next county over. They run an independent body business-- and judging from a GANDER AT THEIR WEBSITE, they're talented as well...
It were a good deal-- I got what I wanted, and the young men got a solid mechanical vehicle. Given Salle's 'major flaws' were aesthetic, and the men have a talent for makin' bodies purdy...
Everybody wins!!!
I have mas wheels in line-- no skate pun intended, though I like it! ha!-- and will use [some of] the made fundage for insuring, registering, defleaing and otherwise Swanverting the other Chevy.
WHAT-- you think I wanna (be) Found On (the) Road Dead?!?
HAIL KNOW!!
Slainte, folks-- and Fare Well, Salle!!! You did me! HARAA!!!

Ken, I thought you were alright 'till now ; )
I miss a lot of my old vehicular friends, an '81 K5 Blazer in particular. But it's always cool to find something better, and send an old friend off to a better place. For now, me and my Silverado 2500 are inseperable, in spite of it's insatiable thirst for the go-go juice. Good thing my "commute" is only 4 miles! Let's see some pics of the new Chebbie!
Oh yeah, friends don't let friends drive F*&ked Over Rebuilt Dodges, heh heh heh....
Now, now, boys play nice. It just so happens that the "new" Chevy Cygnus is getting is my "old" Chevy 4WD Silverado that has been well taken care of and runs like a dream even after 203,000 miles.
203,000? That's barely broken in. My buddy's Dad has an '89 with half a million miles. The only thing he's had to repair was the rearend. Cyg, ya lucky duck!
...all things being equal, the full size Blazer was in the same spot(in my opinion)as the/my full size Broncos...best damn trucks on the planet...and the truth is,i don't dog'em(GM/C or Mopar)as long as they're "trucks"...
...hey Cyg,good score Bro,sorry fer tainting the comments,i did put a little "joke" thing at the bottom...lol
Hey Ken, it's all in good fun : )
HAR!!! Boy, I got a few new ones outa this post! ha!
I AM a lukky duck-- er, some kinda bird!
My dad had a Chevy he dropped a new block and tranny in @ 395k-- it was his Escort vehicle; I was driving it with 512k on it; hadda replace some wheel bearings...
And ken-- I'm with ya on that last one-- I've owned everything from an Isuzu diesel p/u (circa 1989! ha!), a nissan, a Datsun even... chevys; I like the look of the new F150's...
But as long as these ol' family hand-me-downs keep a-comin' along, I'd be a fool not to spring for insurance and a spark plug or three now and again!
Thanks fer the visits, everyone!!!
