Maybe I should quit posting updates; if sheeple ever learn to read, I'll look like a menu...
Oh, also picked up a cast iron set, 5-piece, including:
1* 4.5 qt. dutch oven
*W/ lid
*10.5" skillet
*8" skillet
*griddle
Total cost < $44.00
forgot to eyeball-shop firearms; Uncle is interested in a piece or three...
Kinda taps me for the next eight days... but worth every Ducat.

Ah, the seasoning.. therein lies the rub..(pun intended.)
It definitely sounds like you're getting there. I'll be getting prepared as soon as I take possession of my new home. Right now, I don't have storage space for even my few meager possessions.
If you're going to live alone, you should find an animal companion. A recent study showed that someone who isn't touched at least five times per day can't remain sane. I believe that cats and dogs work fine, since they can show affection. That's why I'm glad Dad found his two kitties.
