Would liked to have found the freeskate routine she did in that Catholic schoolgirl skirt, but weren't her I searched...
Dead beat tonight, folks. Hope a little relaxing music, Cygnus-style, can help draw us draw some soothing breaths.
The music... ahhh...
I love classical. Metallica, too (Enter Sandman on the way home from work!), but each hath their time and place.
Slainte, folks!

Like you, I vary greatly in the music that I listen to. This drives my husband crazy, but it all depends on my mood. Some days the music I select covers great expanses of time...but when my soul needs soothing I definitely choose classical.
:)
Sweet Cheeks,
You got it, Girl!
About the only two genre's I've not been able to ear toare Jazz (though I am gaining an appreciation for "Smooth Jazz"-- a more structured version) and rap. Otherwise... let 'er rip.
Go, Ulrich Schnauss...
Thanks for "listening" to My Song, Sweet Cheeks! (And now don't THAT phrase have a flow to it! Har!)
Nice music selection, nephew...and of course, I never noticed the young, attractive, long-legged, fair skinned, talented beauty in the video!
You beli9eve that, right?

Classical music helps me to focus. I love music of most types (except God help me, the 80s are a decade that I wish never made music). Anyway, to really get my brain organized, I listen to classical. The structure in the music helps to structure your thoughts, too.
Classical and Metallica..heh - yeah, just slightly different..I know what you mean though and agree. Sometimes I even listen to country ;)
Oh yes, the 80's had nothing. BUT look what they had to follow? How can they top, 50's,60's and 70's? Not an easy feat for sure.
(Jim made me laugh, even double posted...;)
Uncle, You mean there was MUSIC? Hmm.. have to watch aga.. er, listen, with my eyes closed, again...
Lazy.. WHAT? NO INXS??? I dunno...
Classical certainly does have, and help, structure!
Thanks for 'listening'-- to the vid and 'My Song'...
Yes ma'am, Lydia, seems the hermit might have been a bit distracted!
Actually, if you took near any Mozart tune and played it on an electric guitar, with a bit of distortion.. Voila! Think Eddie VanHalen's "Eruption". Pure Beethoven.
TRUE! :D
Thanks, Folks, for the comments!
And long live Hair Bands!!! HAR!
I remember when she did that performance, that's what won her the gold medal. Awesome.
I can't dig rap either. I've tried and I recognize that it is a true art form. It's just not for me. And after waitressing in a place that piped country music constantly I'm ruined for it. Garth Brooks was the first concert I ever attended (at 15) and now I can't stand country music without feeling physically ill. And the only opera I like are the soprano arias, can't stand the rest. Oh, and death metal. I like TOOL, but that's the hardest stuff I can stand.
Good on you for liking a wide variety of musical styles. The same stuff over and over denotes narrow mindedness and stagnation.
Livia, My favorite Indica Girl!
I'm with ya on rap being no form of art. Someone left off the beginning "f"...
Country Music... I can do Waylon, Willie, Cash, Hank Jr.,... the REAL ones. Modern Hybrid tripe? Not so much...
And am just now beginning to enure my ear to opera (voice). Su Mi Jo, a Korean Diva, is like one of the only voices I can ear...
OK, Sorry about posting again in my own comment section...HA! Thanks, Livia! see ya again soon!
