Tonight, even some from the li'l patch...
So I guess the salad bowl ought to open up:
The tomatoes are store-bought... for now. The onion, garlic greens (split a clove right out of the refrigerator and thumbed it into the dirt in the brick hole. The following is about three weeks later...) and lettuce are from the garden. VERY REWARDING!
These here babies are Colorado Red beans. A handful of about 15 from the Hermit's 20# bag were placed on a spot left bare of grass when the new cucumber home was moved...
The cucumbers are down the same fenceline a ways...
These HERE:and HERE:are next week's sauteed side dish...
Tomatoshade!
I've heard these make good tea :
I'm sure they make great hot bubblebath infusion for faeries with basil-scented fingers...
Slainte, Folks!

Beautiful!
Better get some organic spray for that black spot on the roses. I'm not much of a rose expert but I think it is made with baking soda. Get moved & enjoy a second spring garden - how often does a fellow get that kind of fun?
Hi Stephanie!
I don't do roses either-- the bushes are there, so... and I wanted a tad more color to add to the post.
Thanks for the beta, though-- as usual, you!
Second garden?!? Slow that jelly roll down, Lady! Ha!:D
Looking wonderful Cygnus! I'm envious of all the planting....no point whilst we are packing lol
Hmmm... looking good and tasty! :) The garden that is.. rofl
Thanks Molly!
Does Packing mean the deal closed, or is this in prep for the 18th?
Take care, Lady!
Lady E! What? I can't be a tasty garden?
Hmm..
No; reckon I'd have to be classifies as foul.
DAMN! And I weren't even lookin' fer a joke...
Hey Cynus, the packing means the deal is closed! We hope to move by the first week of May.
Who Hoo!!! ALL RIGHT MOLLY !!!
New garden areas on the way!!!
Woo-WHO!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!
Best of worlds in the new abode, Lady!
More about this cinderblock garlic strategy, por favor ...
Baby tomatoes already? Showoff! :o)
S.D Farmgirl! My pleasure to have you here, ma'am.
Yes'm; those two tomatoes and six as of today on another cluster on the same vine...
Look like peas! ha!
The garlic? Just like I said-- got a clove out of a vsalue-pack of eight or so from the fridge.
Broke that down to individual segments. Stuck some of those, hairy-root down, in some mud, and... forgot about 'em. Until the leaves came a-shootin'...
Thanks for coming over! Love it when pretty women visit my song...
:D
have a good one!
Wow, you've already got blooms on your roses! We've got some good steady green growth, but it'll be a while before we see actual flowers. Your photos make me even more eager for our funky weather to give way to full blown warmth!
Hi Livia!
i can't wait for you to get some of this spring either, girl!
These roses have not been tended in who knows how many years. Makes me wonder what they'd be like with even a little tlc!
Thanks for the visit!
