I have to be completely honest and admit that I have never read that poem, but I loved it (or maybe I loved that you were reciting it...and from memory no less).
Wow! That was absolutely beautiful, Cygnus! I loved that there was so much emotion showing in your face as you read it. It is one of my favorite Kipling poems. I actually have that framed and hanging in my son's room.
Thank you for sharing...Misadv Mommy is right...amazing job!
Thank you, My Favorite Misadventurous Mommy!. Always from memory-- the only way. :D
BTW-- The Seven Things I love is forthcoming... I kinda got lax with rules yesterday, so removed my proffering. One worthy of coming as guest to your Site to pick the award and Kiss from the Hostess up is on the way..

I am, for the first time, speachless. Great job my brother and a very fitting poem for men of these times. "What if"....now theres a good question that many have ask.
Hi Dixie! great to see a new face on these rough seas... Folks, I been gandering at Dixie's site now for a couple moons... great recipes and oft a gluten-intolerant hint for many on that path... Anyhow... Dixie? You see a latin swan, did ya? Whahappened? Cats get it? Huh? Cats?!?
Hello and Welcome, Babyrocasmama! I absolutely love Bee and Rose's.. always relevant! And glad to have ANY from her site pay My Song a visit. You'd be simply amazed at how close to My blogger (last) name my Family Name is... In fact, I may re-post a very old writ about the Swan sobriquet anyhow... maybe time to update and include the surname... Thanks for the visit and for taking the time to leave a comment! Hope to see you visit again!
